The year 2020 marks the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th amendment, which granted women the right to vote.

For this dystopian anthology, we’re seeking fictional pieces up to 3,000 words from Florida writers. We’re asking writers to imagine a world where this amendment was never approved and women never received the right to vote.

 A portion of proceeds from book sales will benefit the League of Women Voters of the St. Petersburg Area.

 Selected authors will receive 2 copies of the anthology.

 Deadline: March 8, 2020

 Publication Date: Aug. 18, 2020 (the 100th anniversary of the date the 19th amendment was ratified)
