Get to Know Sadie
Sadie Blackburn is an independent author who lives and writes in Florida, where she is owned by a criminally genius little dog who is currently planning world domination. Sadie is a half Native American, half Irish storyteller who was born in Fargo, North Dakota, before being spirited away to Addis Ababa Ethiopia as an infant, and then to New York, where she was subsequently raised by Germans and Norwegians before moving to Florida. Which explains a lot really.

Sadie Blackburn is the author of The Pentecost Chronicles, an alternate Victorian history adventure series filled with well-dressed, rebellious, flamboyant heroes in top hats and steampunk dirigibles.
She is also the author of the Phantoms collection, a series of novel-length ghost stories featuring brave female protagonists who face their own fears to right long-ago wrongs for the sake of phantoms who come to them for help.
Sadie has recently released her first volume of poetry, as well as a collection of essays on creative living, a full-length fantasy YA adventure, and a collection of short stories. Her books are available on Amazon.com and Kindle, and are available free to Kindle Unlimited customers.

Sadie has lived in Florida for most of her life and has been active in the field of early childhood education and program administration throughout her career. She is currently completing a Bachelor’s degree at St. Petersburg college and holds several Florida-based certifications and credentials.
Sadie incorporates creativity in every aspect of her life, including working with preschoolers in Pinellas county, and has enjoyed exploring many creative outlets. In addition to working as an interior decorator in Tampa, she has made and sold hats and jewelry in Clearwater, sung with multiple bands and choirs from Dunedin to Saint Petersburg, created and implemented theatre camps and summer programs for school-age children in Oldsmar, and run a repertory theatre company in Largo.
She also performed on stage at the Bay Area Renaissance Festival for thirteen years and loved every minute of it. Her ties to the Renaissance Festival and Florida folk music communities represent some of the most amazing and enduring friendships she has ever known.
